My name is Joseph Mauk. I began Mauk Illustration in 2013, the culmination of an Illustration degree from the prestigious California College of the Arts. Within the world of illustration and design, my specific areas of expertise include storyboarding, comic booking, character design, and hand lettering. While I was trained as a generalist, my time living abroad in Asia and Europe has instilled a sense of comical curiosity, fantasy and whimsy into my work. I’ve also gained experience in graphic design and project management, rounding out my abilities as a full-service consultant.
